Professional data wiping is the software-based removal of data from a data carrier. All data on the data carriers is permanently destroyed using certified software. Our operational procedures for data destruction are provided upon request with a certificate incuding serial numbers, and even – if desired – with photographic evidence. Data wiping or data carrier destruction?
An alternative to data wiping is the physical destruction of data carriers. A downside to this method is that the IT equipment cannot be reused, as is possible with data wiping. However, if your hardware is ‘end-of-life’ or if there are strict requirements at your organization, you can also choose data destruction with us. The data carriers are dismantled and destroyed with our advanced shredding or degaussing machines.
